Un cycle international de formation
Chaque année, depuis 1995, un cycle international de formation relatif à l’organisation du travail parlementaire est organisé conjointement par l’Assemblée nationale et le Sénat à destination de parlementaires et de fonctionnaires francophones originaires du monde entier. Un cycle spécifique est également organisé annuellement en anglais pour les auditeurs anglophones depuis 2009. Ces programmes sont organisés avec le soutien de l’Institut national du service public (INSP), du ministère de l’Europe et des affaires étrangères et, pour le programme francophone, de l’Assemblée parlementaire de la francophonie (APF).
L’objectif de ces cycles de formation est, à travers une meilleure connaissance du fonctionnement concret du Parlement français, et en comparaison avec d’autres systèmes parlementaires dans le monde, d’améliorer la qualité du travail parlementaire au service d’un renforcement de la démocratie dans les pays concernés et de développer la coopération parlementaire internationale.

An international training cycle
Every year since 1995, the the Senate and the National Assembly have jointly organized an international training cycle
on the organization of parliamentary work for French-speaking parliamentarians and civil servants from all over the world.
A specific cycle has also been organized in English for English-speaking auditors since 2009. These programs are organized
with the support of the Institut national du service public (INSP), the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and, for
the French-language program, the Assemblée parlementaire de la francophonie (APF).
The aim of these training courses is to improve the quality of parliamentary work, to strengthen democracy
in the countries concerned, and to develop international parliamentary cooperation, through a better understanding
of how the French Parliament works in practice, and in comparison with other parliamentary systems around the world.
